3rd Semester: Pedagogical Practice

Practice Duration: 3rd semester

Location: Higher educational institutions, research institutes

Objective: Pedagogical practice provides doctoral students with the opportunity to gain experience in delivering lectures, conducting practical and laboratory classes within the higher education system. Doctoral students master modern teaching methods and train students in scientific research skills.

Main Tasks:

• Mastering teaching methods in the higher education system;
• Gaining experience in conducting lectures, practical, and laboratory classes;
• Assessing students' knowledge and organizing the educational process;
• Developing and analyzing educational programs and methodological guidelines;
• Using interactive teaching technologies and digital education tools;
• Organizing research work with students.

4th Semester: Research Practice

Practice Duration: 4th semester

Location: Research institutes, universities, geographical research centers

Objective: The research practice aims to develop doctoral students' ability to conduct scientific research. They conduct in-depth studies of geographical processes, participate in international scientific projects, and collect materials for their doctoral dissertations.

Main Tasks:

• Mastering and applying geographical research methods;
• Analyzing regional and global geographical issues;
• Studying ecological, demographic, and economic indicators;
• Utilizing and analyzing cartographic and GIS technologies;
• Preparing scientific articles, reports, and materials for doctoral dissertations;
• Participating in scientific conferences, symposiums, and international projects;
• Organizing expeditionary research and conducting fieldwork.
