3rd Semester: Pedagogical Practice

Location: Higher educational institutions, colleges

Objective: The pedagogical practice provides master's students with the opportunity to master methods of teaching hydrology in universities and colleges, develop skills in working with students, and gain experience in conducting lectures, practical, and laboratory classes.

Main Tasks:

• Familiarization with hydrology teaching methodologies;
• Planning and conducting lectures, laboratory, and practical classes;
• Mastering methods for monitoring and assessing students' academic performance;
• Analyzing and developing educational materials and curricula;
• Integrating new scientific research in water resource management into the educational process;
• Using modern educational technologies and digital tools.

4th Semester: Research Practice

Practice Duration: 4th semester

Location: Research institutes, water resource management authorities, hydrometeorological centers

Objective: The research practice is aimed at developing master's students' skills in scientific research. Students master research methods, analyze hydrological processes, and collect materials necessary for scientific projects and dissertations.

Main Tasks:

• Mastering methods of hydrological research;
• Conducting monitoring and management of water resources;
• Hydrological modeling and data analysis;
• Organizing field studies and collecting hydrological samples;
• Studying the dynamics of surface and groundwater;
• Gathering materials for scientific articles, reports, and dissertations;
• Participating in scientific conferences and seminars.
