Objective: The educational field practice aims to develop the skills of future geography teachers in working in a natural environment.
Main Tasks:
- Mastering methods of studying geographical objects;
- Applying field research methods in practice;
- Conducting climatic observations, analyzing geographical phenomena;
- Developing environmental awareness and motivation for nature conservation;
- Mastering methods for studying soil cover, water resources, and relief.

Practice Duration: 4th semester
Location: Secondary educational institutions (schools, gymnasiums, lyceums)
Objective: Familiarizing future teachers with the educational process in schools, developing observation and lesson analysis skills.
Main Tasks:
- Studying the features of organizing the educational process;
- Observing and analyzing geography lessons;
- Researching teacher-student interactions;
- Analyzing the content and methods of educational work in schools;
- Acquiring skills in working with school documentation.
3rd Year: Pedagogical Practice (Assistant Practice)
Practice Duration: 6th semester
Location: Secondary educational institutions
Objective: Mastering teaching methods and techniques, gaining experience in working with a classroom.
Main Tasks:
- Studying the structure of geography lessons;
- Mastering methods of working with students;
- Developing skills in maintaining school documentation;
- Observing and analyzing teachers' teaching methods;
- Gaining experience in using interactive and digital technologies in education.
4th Year: Pedagogical Practice (Main Teaching Practice)
Practice Duration: 7th semester
Location: Secondary educational institutions, colleges, gymnasiums
Objective: Fully mastering the professional activities of a teacher, improving lesson planning and student interaction skills.
Main Tasks:
- Mastering geography teaching methodologies;
- Developing lesson plans and conducting classes;
- Monitoring and assessing students' academic performance;
- Organizing educational activities;
- Working with educational and methodological materials;
- Becoming familiar with the responsibilities of a homeroom teacher.
4th Year: Pre-Diploma Practice
Practice Duration: 8th semester
Location: Research institutes, universities, educational centers
Objective: Collecting necessary materials for the preparation of the diploma thesis, conducting research, analyzing practical data, and applying them in scientific work.
Main Tasks:
- Analyzing scientific literature on the research topic;
- Collecting, processing, and analyzing data;
- Improving teaching methods;
- Studying pedagogical innovations and their application in practice;
- Participating in scientific conferences and seminars.
