Internships for master students for 2023-2026

Scientific Internships of Master's Students (November 2025)

From November 3 to November 16, 2025, Master's students in "7М05107-Biology" and "7М01513-Biology Teacher Training" programs successfully completed scientific internships at leading Kazakhstani institutions: Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Almaty) and Astana International University (Astana).

Key Activities:

• Research & Data Analysis: Students mastered advanced statistical methods using R, Statistica, and Excel , worked on systematizing herbarium and biological collections , and studied osteological materials.
• Laboratory Practice: Participants gained hands-on experience with high-tech equipment for molecular genetics, histology, and phytochemical analysis.
• Methodological Development: New pedagogical approaches were explored, including the design of virtual laboratories and elective courses for schools.
• Academic Engagement: Interns visited major research libraries (Al-Farabi Library) , unique museums of biology and evolution , and participated in scientific seminars and conferences focusing on biodiversity.

Outcome: The internships provided essential data for master's theses and significantly enhanced the research and teaching competencies of the participants.
