Academic mobility

 Academic mobility is focused on the expansion of international cooperation of ENU through the exchange of experience and knowledge among students and staff. Students have the opportunity to attend a university-partner for a period of one semester to one academic year for training, and teachers and staff of ENU, depending on the chosen program, for a period of 5 days and more than teaching and teaching. The main directions of cooperation with foreign universities-partners are: raising the qualifications of the scientific and pedagogical staff of universities, admission of students and teachers of programs of academic exchange, joint scientific meetings.

2025-2026 academic year

Zhaniya Amangeldi, a student of the "Biology" educational program at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, has successfully completed a semester-long exchange at Pamukkale University (Denizli, Turkey). The program took place from September 15, 2025, to January 22, 2026, on a self-funded basis.

The studies focused heavily on practical training: in addition to theoretical lectures, the student participated in laboratory and field work. Zhaniya mastered subjects such as Invertebrate Zoology, Biophysics, General and Organic Chemistry, all of which were fully credited at her home university. Despite the fact that the educational process was conducted in Turkish, she successfully adapted to the international environment, mastering professional terminology and the PUSULA electronic learning management system. This experience not only deepened her professional knowledge in biology but also allowed her to develop independent research skills within a foreign university setting.

As part of the "Welcome to ENU" inbound academic mobility program, Irina Sleptsova, a 2nd-year student from the M. K. Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University (Russian Federation), completed her studies at the Department of General Biology and Genomics.

Asemkhanym Nurberdieva is a 3rd year student, from September 25, 2023 to February 15, 2024, she studied at the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, under the academic mobility program.

 

Zhandos Urazalin and Bekzat Yessimov - 3rd year students, from October 3, 2023 to February 19, 2024, studied at the Faculty of Biotechnology of the University of Wroclaw, Wroclaw, Poland under the academic mobility program.
