Achievements of students and undergraduates
The Department of General Biology and Genomics at L.N. Gumilyov ENU consistently demonstrates excellence in academic and scientific training. Our students regularly secure top honors in the Republican Subject Olympiads: in 2024, the department's teams ("Sci spirit" and "NoVa") won 1st and 3rd places, and in 2025, students once again ranked among the top three performers.
The department’s educational programs are ranked 2nd in the national "Atameken" rating. Undergraduates and Master’s students actively engage in international research projects and academic mobility programs, completing internships in leading scientific centers across Europe, the USA, and Turkey. Due to strong collaboration with the Research Institute of Cell Biology and Biotechnology, our graduates are highly competitive and successfully pursue careers in specialized scientific and medical organizations.
