
The Department of "Environmental Protection Management and Engineering" was established in 2008.
Mission: To be the best department in the Eurasian region, conducting scientific research and providing advanced knowledge in the field of environmental protection and sustainable natural resource management, training highly qualified personnel in ecology at all levels of education for the harmonious development of priority economic sectors, and being accountable to the state and society for the results of its activities.

In the 2023-2024 academic year, the department employs 18 full-time faculty members, including 2 doctors, 8 candidates of sciences, 6 PhDs, and 2 masters of sciences. The proportion of faculty members with academic degrees and titles in the bachelor's program is 88.8%, in the master's program 100%, and in the PhD program 100%.
