Science Club "Aquaponics"
On the basis of the Aquaponics and Aquatic Biology Research Laboratory of the Department of Biotechnology and Microbiology, the Aquaponics scientific club operates, where students of various levels of training, including students, undergraduates and doctoral students of educational programs 7M05105 - Biotechnology and biological safety, 7M05103 – Molecular biotechnology and Biomedicine, 7M05104 – General and Applied Biotechnology; 8D05101-Biotechnology (doctoral studies). 6B05101 - Plant biotechnology and microbiology; 6B05102 - Animal biotechnology and bioinformatics, conduct their research on graduation and dissertation work.
The scientific supervisors of the club are - candidate of biological sciences, professor of the Department Z. A. Alikulov and K.M. Aubakirova, PhD, Associate Professor of the department.
The work plan of the club is drawn up annually, a report on the activities of the club is prepared at the end of the year, and the Regulations on the club are also approved.
The members of the club regularly speak at the meetings of the club and scientific conferences and seminars with scientific reports and reports related to aquaponics and fish farming.
The main goals of the Aquaponics student scientific club are to form students' interest and need for scientific creativity; to develop creative thinking, scientific independence, increase internal organization, a conscious attitude to learning, deepen and consolidate the knowledge gained in the learning process.
